Memorial Gifts

A memorial gift is a meaningful way to convey sympathy to the bereaved and pay tribute to a loved one. All gifts create a lasting impact and allow us to fulfill our mission to instill a sense a wonder, respect, and stewardship for the Pacific Ocean, its inhabitants, and ecosystems.

Give a Memorial Gift

Should you want to direct family and friends to make gifts to the Aquarium in lieu of flowers, the following is suggested wording for an obituary or other tribute:

“In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Aquarium of the Pacific in memory of {deceased name}. Please send your support to: Aquarium of the Pacific Attn: Development Department 320 Golden Shore, Suite 350 Long Beach, CA 90802”

Tribute or Celebration Gifts

Make a gift to recognize or honor someone you love and help support the Aquarium’s mission. Your contribution is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the life of a loved one by honoring a milestone such as a birthday, anniversary, wedding, or graduation- or simply to thank someone while supporting your Aquarium.

How do I make my Memorial or Celebratory Gift?

There are three ways to make a gift:

1. Make a gift online by clicking one of the blue buttons above.

2. Call the Aquarium of the Pacific at (562) 951-5387.

3. Mail a check payable to ‘Aquarium of the Pacific’ and send to: Aquarium of the Pacific Attn: Development 320 Golden Shore, Suite 350 Long Beach, CA 90802

Please mention the name of the person you are honoring with your gift, and if you would like us to notify the honoree or family member, please also indicate the name and address of the individual to be notified. You may also contact donorservices@lbaop.org with this information.
